Facility Managers Beginning to Pay Attention to Carbon Footprint

A lot of attention is being paid to the issues relative to sustainability, and in particular the carbon footprint of a facility or process. This article on the Facilities Net web site provides a good foundation for a further understanding of what we mean by carbon footprint, how it is measured, and what is meant by carbon equivalents.

Using solid water treatment products in your facility operation has a positive effect of helping you reduce your company’s carbon footprint. If you haven't had a chance to visit us recently, please visit the EnduroSolv® site and check out our section on Carbon Footprint. We've even incorporated a handy Carbon Footprint Calculator to help you calculate the positive effects of switching to EnduroSolv® solid water treatment chemicals.

What Does “Solid” Mean?

We have been manufacturing EnduroSolv® solid water treatment chemicals for cooling towers, boilers and closed loop systems for nearly 10 years, with thousands of installations in North America and increasingly around the world. Yet, there is still sometimes confusion about the actual form of the EnduroSolv® product.

Many people assume that EnduroSolv® products
come in a powder form. Not so. Actually EnduroSolv® products come in a relatively firm solid-state form -- kind of a hard, wax-like consistency. Because of this, APTech Group is able to manufacture EnduroSolv® cooling tower water treatment products in disc form and stick form as well as in the more traditional plastic, recyclable bottles.
